Our 3rd Annual FCBD Celebration!

Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is a national event that celebrates and promotes independent comic book stores. This is the Maplewood Library's third FCBD celebration, and it's bigger than ever! Costumes are encouraged.

Visit both our Main Library and the Hilton Branch during our hours of operation to browse comics published just for this special day. These comics are free for you to keep; no need to return them. Look forward to comics from beloved series such as:

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Sonic the Hedgehog
  • Blue Lock
  • He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
  • Dungeon Crawler Carl
  • Conan the Barbarian
  • and more!

And that's not all; throughout the day, we will have several events and random prize giveaways. Most of the events require registration, so click the links for details:
