Let's Play Among Us

Part of the Teen Summer Reading Program

"Unearth a Story" is the national summer reading theme for 2026. To that end, Maplewood Library's teen summer reading activities will focus on mysteries and secrets.

In Among Us, players are crewmates on a space mission, carrying out maintenance tasks on a ship. However, at least a few crewmates aren't crewmates at all, but Impostors, who will eat unsuspecting players. Throughout various points in the mission, crewmates must vote on who is an Impostor and eject them from the ship.

We will be playing on Nintendo Switch. If you have your own Switch, feel free to bring it to the event to play on local wifi. Additional JoyCon controllers will be available as well. Up to 8 players may join the game at once, so if there are more than 8, we will take turns.
