Arts & Crafts Supply Swap - Donation Days
Monday, September 28
10:00am - 8:00pm
Donations accepted for Maplewood Library's first Arts & Crafts Supply Swap from 9/28-10/5!
Bring new or gently used arts and crafts supplies to Maplewood Library between September 28rd and October 5th. All items should be brought to the Main Library's Info desk during regular library hours!
The Supply Swap will be on Tuesday, October 13th from 6:00-7:45pm.
Donation Guidelines:
- All items should be clean and new or very gently used. (When in doubt, use the "bestie" rule: Ask yourself, "Would I give this item to my best friend?")
- Please keep small items, like buttons and beads, or sets of items, like markers and pencils, bagged.
- Small items should be bundled into clear bags and grouped by size, style, theme or color. Ideally, items should have an accompanying description when the original packaging is absent.
- If items (such as fabric or yarn) have been exposed to smoke or pet hair, they must be labeled as such.
- Fabric must be clean and dry.
- Papers (such as scrapbook papers or books) should be clean and free of water damage.
Acceptable Items:
- Colored pencils, crayons, markers, chalk, and pastels
- Paint brushes and unopened paint
- Drawing paper, colored paper, watercolor paper, tissue paper, cardstock, construction paper, cardstock, butcher paper, etc.
