The expiration of the enhanced subsidies for ACA marketplace plans in January 2026 meant steeply increased premiums for many, particularly those whose income exceeds the restored income cap on subsidy eligibility. But coverage is still heavily subsidized for most enrollees and those with income near the eligibility cap should look for legal ways to reduce the income that counts. This presentation will help people navigate their coverage choices — and find deductions that may make the difference between affordable and unaffordable coverage.
