Children's Program RoomOur summer reading Finale, with Maze Obstacle Course & prizes. For all ages. You can also say "goodbye" to our childrens librarian Ms. Jane, who is leaving after 29 years!
Summer Reading ends today, so make sure you put all your time spent reading and writing into Beanstack or your reading log before 5pm!
Then scoot over to Main Library between 11am - 4pm to get your final prizes and hop your way through our maze Obstacle Course which will give you a workout AND a prize!
You can also say goodbye to Ms. Jane, who has been the Head of Children's Services for over 29 years. Write or draw something in her notebook ... maybe a memory of a fun time in the library!
If you can't make it on August 15th, you'll have other opportunities to say goodbye to Ms. Jane:
1. Come to the open house Farewell Day for Miss Jane on Wednesday August 26th from 1-7pm
2. Or just swing by Main Library anytime between now and August 31st, which is her last day. Wednesday evenings are a good time to catch me!
No gifts, please, but feel free to make a donation to the Friends of the Library or to the Library Foundation! Or bring in a card or a picture of yourself.
